Reduce Image File Size (JPG Quality)

If you need a smaller download for email or web, JPG quality is the easiest lever. Lower quality → smaller file, but more compression artifacts.

Quick steps

1. Open the tool and add your image.
2. Set Format to JPG.
3. Lower JPG Quality a bit (try 92% → 88% → 82%).
4. Download and compare clarity.

Tip

Photos handle JPG compression well. Images with text and sharp lines usually look better as PNG.
